[GARAGE] STEVE GURLEY - SELECTED VINYLS MIX

I present to you all: the best garage mix of the modern era (2005 onwards). Not only is the mixing impeccable (credit to Mr. Revealomaniac) - but the track list is perfect for every UK Garage fan in existence. Why is this? Because every song is produced/remixed by the massively influential (yet understated) UK Garage pioneer: Steve Gurley. Prepare to be guided through a soul-rectifying, 2-stepping journey of the finest of modern electronic music. The pinnacle of this mix for me is Steve Gurley's vocal mix of 'Spirit Of The Sun' - which in my opinion, is one of the most underrated UK Garage tracks of all-time. If you'd like to deviate away from your casual 'Pure Garage / Ministry of Sound' CD compilations and listen to a mix from a true pioneer, then look no further than this. RR: 10/10.

[JUNGLE] SUB FOCUS - TURN BACK TIME (SPECIAL REQUEST REMIX)

With the way Special Request (aka Paul Woolford) is pioneering a jungle revival right now (honourable mention to Zomby), I'm surprised he wasn't controlling the decks at Dreamscape'97 alongside Stevie Hyper D. With perfectly chopped vocals, melodic piano chords and old school junglist' percussion sounds - this is a must listen for all music enthusiasts. RR: 8.4/10.
